For the health and well-being of our employees and students, the John B. Coleman Library will close, effective Monday, March 30, until further notice.

Beginning Monday, a computer lab for students will be available in the Willie A. Tempton, Sr. Memorial Student Center (MSC) on the first floor, room 120. Please note: social distancing guidelines will be followed, and seating will be limited. Additionally, IT support for faculty and staff will move to S.R. Collins, room 106.

Circulation policy changes during the closure:

  • Returning items: all book returns are currently closed. Please keep all items until we reopen.
  • Due dates: will automatically be extended, and there will be no fines during this period.
  • Until further notice, the Library will not have access to any of the physical collection, including journals, books, and media, and will not be able to fulfill requests for these materials.
  • InterLibrary Loan will still be functional. However, it will only be for electronic materials.

As we continue to monitor the novel Coronavirus outbreak, we will update you when we are able to resume Library operations.
