Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)

The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) curriculum is to educate students academically and socially, to lead professionals of the community where they live and work, and to make significant contributions to the society. The Civil Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), http://www.abet.org.

The program integrates classroom teaching with real-life experiences through networking with professionals in the community, site visits, and participation in undergraduate research activities to prepare students for graduate research and successful careers. Students receive a sound background in basic sciences, engineering sciences and engineering design coupled with studies in the humanities and in the social sciences. Small faculty-to-student ratio allows student to receive the personal attention they deserve, along with opportunities to engage in research activities consistent with their individual interests.
