College of Agriculture and Human Sciences Dean and Director of Land Grant Programs Gerard D’Souza, Ph.D., recently co-wrote a chapter in collaboration with Acting Dean of Administration, Inocencio Rodríguez González from the University of Puerto Rico-Arecibo for the book, “Challenging Issues on Environment and Earth Science.” The chapter discusses innovative computer programs to simulate complex systems to represent real-world events and can serve as a methodological guide for readers interested in developing their own Agent Based Modeling (ABM).
