Please join the Senior Vice President for Business Affairs and the Division of Business Affairs in welcoming Mr. Henry Rose and Mr. Brandon Davis to the PVAMU family. We would also like to extend a very warm welcome to Mr. Peter (Pete) Horn who is the new Central Utilities Director for Southeast Service Solutions (SSC).

 Mr. Henry Rose

Mr. Henry Rose has joined Office of Information Resource Management as Information Security Analyst.          Mr. Rose is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University, where he obtained both his Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Computer Science. He worked as a Systems Analyst from 2007 – 2013 at College of Business, Prairie View A&M University. Prior to accepting this position with PVAMU, he worked at Cititrust Ltd.

 Mr. Brandon Davis

Mr. Davis is the new HUB Assistant & Buyer in the Department of Procurement and Disbursement Services. He is a native of Detroit, Michigan, with seven years combined experience in Quality Assurance and Procurement. Brandon is a fall 2014 graduate from PVAMU College of Business, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Additionally, Brandon was a member of several student organizations, including B.L.A.C.K., the Marching Storm, and an executive board member of the Student Government Organization.

Brandon states, “I am a high energy, driven, and tenacious professional that’s ready to take on challenges. There is no place like PV! I’m honored to work and grow professionally with my Alma mater.”

Mr. Peter (Pete) Horn  Central Utilities Director

The Central Utility Plant, part of the Physical Plant outsourced to Southeast Service Solutions (SSC), has new leadership as of October 26, 2015.  Peter (Pete) Horn comes to Prairie View A&M University with an extensive 40+ year career in business development and design management of energy, construction and unique technology projects.  He has had some unique experiences to include the design/build from concept to operation of a 25 Mw CHP cogeneration plant for the UCONN Storrs campus, development/build of a 5,000 GPD biodiesel plant, and construction resolution for the World Trade Center Recovery effort. During his career he has been either a principal or lead in the design/build of facilities throughout the world including Kenya, Russia, Brazil, Colombia, and the Caribbean.  Upon arrival at PVAMU, he has hit the ground running and has provided impeccable customer service to the campus community, ensuring that all utilities are running at optimal levels.
