Prairie View A&M University congratulates Ashley Harbeson for receiving a top scholarship from the Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston (PASH).  Each year, PASH hosts Education Day where the organization awards scholarships, sponsorships and grants to local colleges and universities that have petroleum accounting courses.  Harbeson was identified as one of the highest grade earners in her Oil and Gas Accounting class offered in the College of Business.

According to the PASH website, “The [Scholarship] committee is always proud to give back to local schools and their brightest oil and gas accounting students.”

PASH is a Charter member, and one of the largest individual societies, of the twenty-four societies that comprise the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS). Through COPAS, the petroleum industry discusses problems, finds solutions, receives oil and gas accounting/auditing training and education, and develops leadership.
