PVAMU campus

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (Jan. 17, 2024) – As we prepare to return to in-person operations following this week’s arctic weather, you will find pertinent information below that will assist in the transition.

Spring 2024 Registration

Spring 2024 registration will remain open until Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

Students who still need to register for classes or change their current schedule should contact their academic advisor for assistance.

Return to In-Person Instruction

All courses designated as face-to-face will return to that instructional mode. Students and faculty should review the Spring 2024 course schedule to determine the time and location of class sections.

On-Campus Building Conditions

We encourage students, faculty, and staff to prepare for conditions that may be present on campus as a result of the deep freeze and extreme cold conditions experienced over the last few days. We anticipate that some buildings may have temperatures ranging between 50-60 degrees.

Students, faculty, and staff who work in or have classes in the buildings listed below are encouraged to dress warmly. Layering your clothing can provide additional warmth, as can wearing sweaters and even coats if necessary. Please prioritize your comfort and well-being during this time.

We are actively working to resolve the heating issue and will keep you updated on the progress. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we navigate this challenge together.
