Prairie View A&M University Series
In coordination with the Texas A&M University Press, the Prairie View A&M University Series emphasizes the examination of African American History, Culture, and Politics. The Series’ goal is to contribute to the understanding of, but not limited to, the following: Race and Politics, the African Diaspora, Urban History, Political Racism, Jim Crow, African Americans in the Military, African Americans and the American Criminal Justice System, the American Civil Rights Movement, and Slavery in the Diaspora.
How to Submit Your Manuscript
Please forward the following information to the Series Editor at pvseries@pvamu.edu for consideration of your manuscript by the Editorial Board:
- Proposed title
- Tentative table of contents
- Brief synopsis (no more than 500 words)
- Identify the potential contribution of the manuscript to the understanding of the African American experiences
- What issues, questions, or problems are addressed in the manuscript?
- How is the manuscript different from others in the same subject area?
- Sample chapter or introduction (in PDF format)
- Current CV/Resume (in PDF format)
