Research Interests

Organic synthesis that impacts areas such as medicinal chemistry, materials science, and reaction mechanism.

The projects are:

  • Design and synthesis of novel electro-active molecules and molecular cables and that can be utilized as practical molecular devices for applications in the emerging field of nanotechnology as well as in biomaterial applications.

Nano cable prototypes

  • Design and synthesis of bioactive organic compounds by using modern synthetic methods, application of different chromatographic techniques for purification of products, structural assignment of the products, and evaluation of their biological activity.
