Alumnus Eddie J. Smith, who started with the PVAMU Army ROTC program in 1988, recently achieved selection for promotion to Colonel in the U.S. Army. He has been in the Army Reserve for 25 years, and served one tour in Afghanistan. Colonel Smith is currently an Army ROTC Recruitment Officer at TCU – Texas Christian University and still in the Reserve.
