For Grades K-8

Does your child want to be a doctor, nurse, or scientist? Let them experience what it might be like during our Mini Medical School Camp. Campers will explore the career opportunities available in medicine, conduct experiments in state-of-the-art laboratories, and engage in science through hands-on learning.
Engineers are involved in designing virtually everything we use today; from our cars, computers, and cell phones, to bridges, skyscrapers, and video games.

  • Do you know which type engineer is involved in each?
  • What exactly does an engineer do?
  • How does an engineerā€™s day differ from that of a scientist?

In our engineering camps, your child will turn into a real engineer; designing, evaluating and redesigning machines and super structures. Every project theme is skillfully constructed to spark your childā€™s imagination and help turn learning, problem-solving and skill-building into a fun game.

The Reading Rainbow camp promotes the love of books and reading, while helping your child become a stronger, more independent reader. Each day, your child will be exposed to high-quality literature with interactive reading activities. Studies have shown that during the summer months, children often experience “summer learning loss”; especially in this particular area. Our Reading Rainbow camp provides an opportunity to reduce this potential ‘loss’ through immersive engagement in a collaborative learning environment. As an added treat, participants attending this camp will also participate in a play (performance) at the end of the session.
Each day will cover the basic fundamentals of golf, along with the rules and etiquette of the game. The primary components of Golf Camp focus on incorporating the major muscle groups, flexibility, fundamentals of the game, skill development, and golf course etiquette. During the camp, we will incorporate values of sportsmanship into the lesson, such as honesty, respect, confidence, judgment, and more.
This camp aides with adolescent culinary skills by focusing on how to make kid-friendly meals at home, identifying common hazards within a typical kitchen, providing tips on how to avoid these dangers, and will also provide proper etiquette for the dinner table. After this camp, parents should allow their kids to cook for them to see what they learned and make sure to reinforce safety standards to avoid hazards and dangers in the kitchen.

Our camp is a unique experience; using fun-filled interactive learning to teach the art playing chess, campers will participate in entertaining and engaging activities. Each day starts off with a morning wakeup routine with physical activity. Then, in the afternoon, campers will engage in playing chess by learning fun and effective strategies. The camp is provided by Chess Educators, using an interactive, hands-on approach for campers to learn chess. Camp activities include: chess instruction and lessons, a chess lab which includes worksheets, problem solving, and many other strategic tactics. Campers will also participate in class tournament games with notation and clocks – making the camp an exciting and rewarding experience.
