All HEERF student funds have now been awarded.

For the spring 2023 semester, the application process for the HEERF Emergency grant for all currently enrolled students will begin February 13, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. and will end February 24, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Please return to this page on February 13, 2023, to apply.

The following guidelines apply, without exception. Any application that does not adhere to these guidelines will be denied:

  • All students must use your @pvamu.edu email address.
  • All students must enter accurate information.
  • Only one application per student, any student who submits multiple applications will be denied. No exceptions.
  • Take your time, you will not have the opportunity to make corrections and duplicate submissions will disqualify you.
  • All applications submitted by the deadline will be reviewed, the date of submission does not have any impact on the review or disbursement process.
  • The following currently enrolled students are eligible: undergraduate, graduate, and international students; as well as citizens, permanent residents, refugees, asylum seekers, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) recipients, and similar undocumented students.
  • The amount of the grant will not exceed $1,500.
  • The disbursement date is February 28, 2023.
  • Once you select a method of disbursement it cannot be changed.
  • Grants will be disbursed via your student account.
  • This grant does not affect your financial aid.
  • This grant can be applied directly to your spring 2023 balance, or you can receive it as a refund.

Please note updates will not be provided until after the review process has been completed and updates will only be provided via email to the student’s pvamu email address.
