Prairie View Alum Kyle Maronie returns to the PVAMU Campus to deliver the inaugural George R. Brown Lecture titled "History, Public Health, and the Black Experience in America: Reflections Rooted in Lived Experience."

This program will trace the importance of PVAMU in the rise of American politics and examine several key figures involved in the post-Civil Rights Movement.

Dr. Michael Royster will deliver the inaugural Charles Lewter IV lecture. Dr. Royster will lecture on "How Malcolm X Provoked Black Christianity Towards Self-Reexamination." Please come honor Dean Charles Lewter and hear a phenomenal lecture.

Dr. Karl Baughman will lecture on the Black presence in the Roman Empire. Were Black people present in Rome? What was their contribution to the Roman Empire?
