    • “Internal Affairs & International Initiatives Compliance – Diversity at Prairie View A&M University”

Learn about international initiatives and related activities. Introducing student and faculty international resources, study abroad opportunities, and immigration services. (Location: J.W. Becton, Jr. Auditorium)

    • “Building a Culture of Compliance – It Takes Everyone”

Learn about your personal responsibility for awareness, reporting and accountability in order to help Prairie View A&M University be successful in building a strong culture of compliance. (Location: J.W. Becton, Jr. Auditorium)

    • “Without Excellent Customer Service, Where Will We Be?”

Learn about how to provide excellent customer service. Whatever your role is at Prairie View A&M University, you have customers to serve and without those customers where will Prairie View A&M be? (Location: J.W. Becton, Jr. Auditorium)

    • “Campus Concealed Carry – What Can I Expect!”

Learn about the current law, and upcoming changes to the law, concerning the legal concealed carry of handguns on the PVAMU campus. We will address some experiences in other states and what to expect at PVAMU. (Location: J.W. Becton, Jr. Auditorium)

    • “Clery Act Compliance – What is My Role as a Campus Security Authority?”

Learn about the basic requirements of the Clery Act and the responsibilities of PVAMU employees with respect to meeting those requirements. (Location: J.W. Becton, Jr. Auditorium)

    • “Camps and Enrichment Activities from a Risk Management Perspective”

Learn about the procedures and requirements for conducting a camp or program for minors under the name of the University and/or on University property, as well as learn tips to strengthen your ability to provide a safe, nurturing environment for recreational, athletic, or enrichment/educational activities. (Location: Agriculture & Business Building, Room 114)

    • “Risk Management and Safety – Golf Cart, Utility Cart and Similar Vehicle Training”

Learn to operate these vehicles prior to using them. This course is also part of the Driver/ Travel Safety course. This session is for all faculty, staff, and students. (Location: John B. Coleman Library, Room 108)

    • “Title IX Compliance – Becoming a Part of the Solution – Because One is Too Many”

Learn the key definitions related to Title IX as well as employee responsibilities and expectations for reporting through videos and interactive discussions. This session is for all faculty and staff. (Location: Agriculture & Business Building, Room 114)

    • “Monthly Statement of Account Reviews – Do I Really Have To?”

Learn about your role in reviewing your departmental accounts and why it is your responsibility. (Location: John B. Coleman Library, Room 108)

    • “What are Export Controls and How Do They Impact Me?”

Learn about your responsibilities related to protecting Prairie View A&M University and its employees by complying with the regulatory requirements related to export controls. (Location: John B. Coleman Library, Room 108)

    • “Human Resources Compliance – Your Role in the Employee Separation Process”

A reminder of the short, but necessary steps to take for exiting employees. And, learn about NEW HR activities on the horizon. This session is for Deans, Associate/Assistant Deans, Department Heads, Associate/Assistant Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, and Supervisors and anyone who supervises one or more persons be it faculty, staff, or graduate student.     • “What Researchers Should Know about Export Controls”

Learn about export controls, its impact on you and your research activities, and how to stay out of trouble with regulatory entities. (Location: John B. Coleman Library, Room 108)

    • “Information Technology Records – What Do I Need to Know about Records Retention and Accessibility”

Learn about how to comply with records retention and accessibility requirements when dealing with electronic records. (Location: Agriculture & Business Building, Room 114)

    • “Compliant and Secure? Probably Not!”

Why being compliant does not automatically mean you are secure. Learn a few ways to fix these issues in an ever changing digital world. (Location: Agriculture & Business Building, Room 114)
