  • If I want to change my major, will my PV Care Team change? Your PV Care team will only change if you change to a major that is not within your college group i.e. if you’re currently a Teacher Education student and want to change to Business, your care team would switch to include advisors who advise for the College of Business, College of Engineering and School of Architecture

  • What should I expect from my Academic Advisor? You should expect your Academic Advisor to help you with a graduation plan, which includes reviewing your academic class schedule each semester. Advisors will also help you to understand the curriculum, important policies, procedures, and requirements that affect graduation and success. You should also expect your Academic Advisor to provide information and strategies for utilizing campus resources and services. Lastly, you should expect your Academic Advisor to be accessible and approachable for meetings via office hours for face-to-face or virtual advising sessions.

  • How often should I meet with my Coach in a given semester? To get the most out of this experience, it is recommended that you meet with your Career Coach at least twice each semester and attend as many career and professional development workshops as allowed by your schedule.
  • How do I request support from my Career Coach? You may schedule an appointment (virtual or in-person) through Panther Navigate (Click here to download) or by visiting the Department for Careers and Professional Development on the second floor of Evans Hall.
