- Am I allowed to continue advising my students? After September 6, 2024, all undergraduate students should be directed to their Care Team Academic Advisor for advising.
- How can I participate in the Care Team? Faculty will be provided the opportunity to serve as a faculty mentor starting in the fall of 2025.
- How do I identify and connect with the Academic Advisor(s) assigned to my department? You can locate the Academic Advisor(s) assigned to your department on the PV Cares Website (click here).
- What should students expect from their financial counselor? The Financial Counselor will be available to provide outreach, literacy, and one-on-one counseling about financial aid programs, eligibility requirements, financing options, and student account related questions.
- How does a student meet with a Financial Counselor? They can schedule an appointment (virtual or in-person) through Panther Navigate (click here to download) or by visiting the Office of Student Financial Services, located in the Memorial Student Center, 3rd floor
- How do I contact a Care team member if I want to refer a student to them? Faculty can submit notifications to the Care teams through Panther Navigate (click here to download).

- How do I identify and connect with the Career Coach assigned to my department? You can locate the Career Coach assigned to your department/program on the PV Cares website (add URL); or by contacting the Department of Careers and Professional Development at 936.261.3570/Email – careers@pvamu.edu.
- How can I collaborate with a Career Coach to host in-class or specialized career readiness workshops? Email the Department of Careers and Professional Development at careers@pvamu.edu. Please submit requests at least three (3) weeks prior to the date of the event.
- Where is the Department for Careers and Professional Development located? This department is located in Evans Hall on the Second Floor.
- How do I refer students for career and employment development assistance? You can submit referrals to the Care teams through Panther Navigate (click here to download).
- How do I submit ideas for an event I would like to collaborate on with the Department for Careers and Professional Development? Email the director to schedule a meeting to discuss your idea to plan and place on the calendar of events. The directors contact information can be found on the PV Cares website (click here).
