New Student Orientation 

Your Prairie View A&M University experience starts with New Student Orientation (NSO). During NSO, you will learn more about PVAMU resources. Attendance at New Student Orientation is mandatory in order for students to register for Fall 2025 classes.

Important information to sign-up for New Student Orientation (NSO): 

  • All information will be communicated via your PVAMU official email.

  • Before you do anything else, you must complete the preliminary tasks outlined in the Admissions Letter:

    • Log into PV Place to set-up your PVAMU student account
    • Log into PV Place and check your PVAMU email in Panther Tracks
    • Submit TSI Scores or Exemptions
    • Lock-in your Tuition & Fee Rate Plan
      • Sign in to the PV student portal
      • Click on “Click here for New PantherTracks For Students
      • Under ‘Student Accounts,’ click “New Student Tuition And Fee Rate Selection
    • Complete your Payment Agreement
      • Sign in to thePV student portal
      • Click on “Click here for New PantherTracks For Students
      • Select “Register for Classes
      • For the pop-up screen, ‘Action Item Processing,’ click ‘CONTINUE’ to resolve your Action Items.
      • On the left-hand side of the screen, click ‘Student Payment Agreement – Fall 2025
        • a. Read & scroll down on the right-hand side of the screen to select your option, then click ‘SAVE
        • b. Do the same for the ‘summer’ option
      • Scroll down more on the left-hand side of the screen to click ‘Payment Agreement /Bank Mobile – Fall 2025
        • a. Read & scroll down on the right-hand side of the screen to select your option, then click ‘SAVE’
        • b. Do the same for the ‘summer’ option
    • Register for NSO
