The Prairie View A&M University Office of Graduate Studies offers master’s and doctoral programs within each of our seven Colleges and School of Architecture: Agriculture and Human Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, Juvenile Justice and Psychology, and Nursing. Attending graduate school at Prairie View A&M University will open doors to inventive research projects and opportunities for career development and advancement. Dedicated scholars inspire one another as they work alongside award-winning faculty and administration.

The Office of Graduate Studies’ mission is to provide administrative coordination for graduate studies through joint supervision of graduate program planning, delivery, and evaluation within a rigorous, intellectually challenging, and stimulating environment. A strong partnership across the academic divisions has been developed to assist students in realizing their educational goals. The Office of Graduate Studies is further committed to graduate student success by providing opportunities for professional development, programming, research, and funding.

Newly admitted graduate students are not required to attend New Student Orientation.
