The Office of Research and Graduate Studies hosted the 1st Annual Research Symposium. The Research Symposium provided a forum for faculty, staff , students and the community to discuss cutting edge research topics and to examine the connection between research and education.

The PVAMU 1st Annual Research Symposium featured all of the 2013 and 2014 Research Mini-Grant recipient cohorts developed to:
• Increase the research awareness on campus
• Promote cross-disciplinary research collaboration
• Enhance the research culture
