PVAMU Selected for HP Technology Grant to Help Produce Business Leaders

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas--Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) was selected as one of 39 two- and four-year colleges and universities in the United States and Puerto Rico to receive a 2008 HP Technology for Teaching grant, which is designed to transform teaching and improve learning in the classroom through innovative technology.

  • PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas--(Oct. 3)--The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) recently awarded a team of Prairie View A&M University researchers $5 million to fund research geared towards finding methods to ensure the safety of astronauts and delicate flight instruments during NASA flights departing earth.

  • PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas--Prairie View A&M University’s radio station KPVU 91.3 FM will kick-off its Fall Membership Campaign 2008, October 10.  The campaign theme, “Creating a New Vision While Preserving a Legacy,” will be launched from the KPVU studio on the Prairie View A&M University campus. The campaign will run Oct. 10-19.
