What is the purpose of wait lists?

Wait lists prioritize parking request of controlled areas. The order of priority is based on the following identifying factors:

  • Executive Level Administrators & Deans of Schools
  • Faculty/Staff members are based on date of request
  • Resident Students based on Classification (Senior, Junior, Sophomore, Freshman)
  • Graduate Level Students based on Classification
  • Undergraduate Students based on Classification (Senior, Junior, Sophomore, Freshman)
  • Waitlists are first come, first serve after prioritizing.

Will I have to register with a wait list every year?

After the initial purchase year, you will not need to register for a wait list unless you would like to change your Permit option or upgrade your Permit. Keep in mind that renewals must accept their Permit award through email each year.
