What is a Visitor ePermit?

Visitor ePermits provide electronic parking permission for selected hours or day in a designated areas or spaces. Click here (TBP) for pricing and steps.

Disability Parking

Anyone parking on campus who has a valid state or county-issued disabled permit or license plate (including disabled veteran license plates) may park in any designated disabled parking space or any other non-restricted parking space, with a valid disabled permit/license plate and a valid PVAMU parking permit. Both permits must be displayed to be authorized to park.

I have a motorcycle and a car. Do I need two permits?

Yes and No.  You may have 2 license plates registered to your parking account, but you must get a special motorcycle permit for your motorcycle. Only one vehicle can be parked on campus at a time. Cars are not eligible for motorcycle only permits.

Can I have a Student Resident’s Permit and a Faculty/Staff Permit?

No. Only campus residents are eligible for residential Student Permits. Residents are not eligible for Faculty/Staff Permits.

I lost my Permit, now what?

Replacement permits and cost of the replacement will be assessed individually by the Parking Management Office.  If a permit is lost or stolen, immediately file a report with the University Police Department.  Parking does not charge for stolen or lost permits reported to the UPD .  Please present your police report to the Parking Management Office.

How can I get a refund? 

Full refunds for staff and faculty are issued for semester and annual parking permits if the refund is requested by the fifth (5) business days from the date of purchase. Students, have up to five (5) business days after the first day of the semester from which the permit is purchased to receive a full refund.

Refund requests received after fifth (5) business day are pro-rated for faculty/staff. Refunds will not be issued after the end of the semester date or at the end of the fiscal year.  No refunds will be issued on daily and special events permits.
