PVAMU Holds Assessment Week 2016

To support Academic Units with the fulfillment of and reporting on 2016-15 Assessment Plans, a series of workshops will be offered April 20-22, 2016. Most workshops are repeated daily to accommodate teaching and work schedules.

 
Workshop Descriptions

 

“Assessing Artifacts and Using Rubrics in Taskstream”
Examine Taskstream from both a student and faculty member’s perspective, learn best practices for assessing student work, including how to arrange calibration sessions, and how to assess an artifact once submitted in Taskstream.
“Running Data Reports in Taskstream”
Learn how to run data reports in Taskstream LAT and how to add those to an Assessment Plan report.
“Using Data: Academic Examples of Formulating Strategies for Improvement”
Learn what colleagues from selected Academic Units are doing with data, from holding faculty retreats for data reflection to formulating improvement strategies. Two units will share for 25-30 minutes followed by a 20-minute Q&A.
“Responding to Your 2015-16 Assessment Plan: The Nuts and Bolts of a Taskstream Response Entry”
Learn how to report on outcomes achievement in Taskstream, including pulling in data reports, support files such as meeting minutes, UAC and/or Graduate Council documentation, etc., and reporting on measures.
“Consulting Session: An Open Session for Anyone”
Take advantage of an open time for working or consulting on any aspect of Taskstream and PVAMU’s Six-Question Model.
