Family Nurse Practitioner students

Dr. Gloria Rose, director of the Graduate Program in Prairie View A&M University’s College of Nursing, along with a group of graduate students in PVAMU’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program, attended the Pri-Med Southwest Conference at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston April 5-7.

According to the Pri-Med website, the medical education company is “rooted in the philosophy that while new medical breakthroughs are often the product of large global research teams, the process of putting these insights to work for patients is a local endeavor. In order to improve patient care, we need to reach clinicians where they live and practice with low-cost opportunities.”
