The ICEED Innovation-Commercialization-Entrepreneurship-Economic Development Center is committed to advancing the innovation and entrepreneurship enterprise by significantly increasing the innovation and commercialization activities by faculty, students and staff researchers. In alignment with the Division of Research & Innovation’s strategic vision to elevate the PVAMU’s Innovation enterprise, the ICEED is dedicated to providing strategic as well as broader services.

Innovation is and always will be a key driver of economic success in the United States. ICEED empowers innovators as we create an entrepreneurship ecosystem, leveraging the innovation and entrepreneurial capabilities of PVAMU’s talented and diverse student body, faculty, staff and alumni to accelerate technology transfer, entrepreneurship and economic development throughout our community and the State of Texas. Our goal is to integrate research, education and commercialization to foster a culture for entrepreneurs across the campus to learn, plan and grow, while building lasting relationships between industry and academia to improve society and revitalize the economy.
