Online Classes and Presentations

The John B. Coleman Library Academic Integrity Library Online Workshop/Class is a one-hour session taught by the John B. Coleman Library’s Reference and Instruction Librarians who engage in information about PVAMU’s academic dishonesty, academic integrity, and the PVAMU honor codes, along with information about library researching skills, plagiarism, artificial intelligent, ChatGPT and copyright.

This Zoom John B. Coleman Library Reference and Information Services Department online presentation is every Monday night 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm from January 12, 2026 to May 9, 2026. The training will build from the attendees’ personal library research questions, research assignments, and homework assignments. The audience will have the opportunity to engage with the presenter on what are the best methods and practices for finding the resources for your library research papers and projects as the seminar takes part in showcasing the John B. Coleman Library online services, resources, and databases for your research needs.

The philosophy of science research sessions will provide conceptual frameworks for interacting with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics research. Using historical and modern examples of exciting scientific concepts, this course will deliver skills needed for basic research principles, finding strong sources, and using the library’s resources to do so. We will strive to uncover aspects of STEM research that have been traditionally overlooked, and give new context for scientific ideas.

This presentation will showcase the College of Nursing Library’s resources.
