· Department initiates action to create a new position and routes for approval in Workday. Department must attach an approved organizational chart signed by the Vice President to the action in Workday.
· Once position approvals are completed, department initiates the job requisition for the position to be posted. |
· Department initiates action to edit position restrictions to change the title, job responsibilities, skills and routes for approval. Department must attach an approved organizational chart signed by the Vice President to the action in Workday.
NOTE: Minimum qualifications for staff positions are set by the System-Wide Pay Plan.
· HR will send the department a reclassification letter if the reclassification is on an existing employee.
· Once the Edit Position Restrictions action is finalized, a Change Job action will be need to be initiated and routed if the position is currently filled (occupied by an employee).
· If the position is vacant, the department can initiated the Job Requisition for the position to be posted once the Edit Positon Restrictions action is finalized. |
