“The Honors Program changed the way I perceive myself, others, and the world at large. The most important aspect of the Honors Program that has helped me throughout my academic journey is the community. The relationships I have gained with the Honors staff and students have introduced me to academic opportunities, which have been quite valuable. In particular, the Honors Program trip to China sparked my interest in becoming a global scholar. The trip encouraged me to continue to hone my interest in global health, which aided in molding my future academic aspirations. Furthermore, the process of cultivating research for the senior honors thesis has stretched my intellect.
