The Lem Garcia Law Scholarship will provide a $1,000 scholarship award to an aspiring attorney who is currently enrolled or planning to enroll in law school for the 2022-2023 academic year. This scholarship program is intended to alleviate some of the financial burdens of attending law school.
AMOUNT: $1000
DEADLINE: Aug 15, 2022
CRITERIA:
- Anyone who is accepted into any law school in the U.S. for the 2022-2023 academic year or current law school students attending any law school in the U.S. throughout the 2022-2023 academic year.
- Essay of 800 words or less about why you are pursuing a legal career and how you plan to use your degree to fight for justice. If you have experience advocating for yourself or others, we would love to hear how that experience informed your decision to pursue a career in law.
