Congratulations to the 2025 Summer Graduates!
Before the conferring of degrees, please join us at the Summer 2025 Alumni Pinning Ceremony, August 7, 2025, 6:30 p.m., in the Willie A. Tempton, Jr. Memorial Student Center, Opal Johnson Smith Auditorium.
We are honored that Darius Fulghum ’19 accepted our invitation to be the featured guest for the 2025 Summer Alumni Pinning Ceremony. Darius graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2019 from PVAMU.
Darius set his goals, strategized, and created a transition plan before trading in his white coat for boxing gloves. Transitioning to his true passion, he pursued a successful career as a professional boxer, signing with Golden Boy Promotions in October 2023. With a record of 14-1-0 and 12 KOs, Darius is a true inspiration and example of one who has discovered and pursued his passion.
Come out and hear from Darius about his journey to the boxing ring. PVAMU Alumnus LaMondra Johnson ’20 will join us as the Panther-2-Panther Moderator, and Regan Johnson, aka DJ REGOO, will provide the entertainment and sounds.
