Pass the Mic: Hip Hop as Global Conversation

50 years after hip-hop was started in the Bronx, NY, hip-hop has become a global musical genre. For the last Global Ed-Talk of the year, Dr. Derek Blackwell will give an interactive lecture on the global implications of hip-hop as an artform, story-telling medium, and tool for conversations about social issues and cultural identity. Light refreshments will be served.This event helps to support the B-GLOBAL QEP.
