Sir David Adjaye is a Ghanaian-British architect and founder of Adjaye Associates, with offices in Accra, London, and New York. His acclaimed work includes the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture and the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi. He is a recipient of the 2021 RIBA Royal Gold Medal, was knighted in 2017, and appointed to the Order of Merit in 2022.
