Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (C.R.A.S.E.) Course

The Prairie View A&M Police Department is pleased to announce an upcoming Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (C.R.A.S.E.) course, designed to equip our campus community with critical knowledge and strategies for responding to active threat situations.

Date: Wednesday, July 16, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Location: Memorial Student Center Ballroom
This free course is open to all students, faculty, and staff. UPD Personnel will cover:
- The Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy
- Real-world case studies
- Situational awareness and preparedness
- Q&A session with safety experts
Why Attend?
Your safety is our top priority. This training empowers individuals with the tools and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Registration is encouraged but not required. Walk-ins are welcome, but seating is limited.
