What is Examity?
Examity is an online proctoring service integrated with PVAMU’s eCourses. It’s used in online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses.
What does Examity do?

System Requirements
- MacOS X 10.5 or higher
- Windows Vista or higher
- Examity does not support Linux or Chrome OS
- Desktop computer or laptop (tablets, Chromebook and cell phones do not meet our requirements)
- A working built-in or external webcam and microphone
- Internet speed must be at least 2 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload. Hot spots are not recommended
- Browser with pop-up blocker disabled
Scheduling and Fees
Students can schedule exam appointments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The specific date and time scheduled must fall within the attempt window set by the instructor. There is no charge to students unless the exam is scheduled within 24 hours of the desired testing date/time. If a student schedules an exam within 24 hours of the desired testing date/time, the student will be assessed a $5 late scheduling fee.
