What is the Employee Giving Campaign?
Nothing speaks to an institution's strength quite like its own people choosing to invest in it. Faculty and staff giving sends a message no external campaign can replicate: the people building Prairie View A&M every day believe in where it's headed.
The Employee Giving Campaign is an annual fund campaign that provides a chance for PVAMU employees to directly impact the areas of the University that matter most to them. This year's campaign holds special meaning as Prairie View A&M celebrates its Sesquicentennial, running September 1 through November 24 - our goal is $150,000 in pledges and 50% employee participation.
When does the campaign kick off, and is there a raffle?
The campaign runs September 1 through November 24. Our kickoff is Wednesday, September 16 in the Visitor Center parking lot.
Employees who submit a giving form by the start of the kickoff are entered into a drawing for two seats in the University Advancement suite at the September 19 home game against Stephen F. Austin - which also happens to be Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night. The winner and one guest receive suite access with food and beverage included. We'll draw the name live at the kickoff.
Can I specify where my contribution should go?
Absolutely! Your contribution can be designated to a variety of PVAMU funds and academic units. Your gift directly benefits the area you choose or you may select the Annual Fund which supports the “Greatest Need” of the University. Simply note your preference on the donation form.

Can I designate my gift to more than one area?
Yes! Be sure to select the designations on the donation form for each area you wish to support.
How much should I give?
You decide the size of your gift according to your own charitable interests, your willingness to give, and your financial capacity. No gift is too small. It is your participation in the campaign that matters most.
Can I make an anonymous gift?
Yes. Simply note your preference to remain anonymous on the donation form.
What are my payment options?
You may give by payroll deduction, check, or credit card (online).

When does my payroll deduction actually begin?
Payroll deductions for this campaign begin in January 2027, at the start of the new calendar year. This applies whether you sign up on day one or during the final week of the campaign, so there is no reason to wait. Submitting early helps us track our progress toward the campaign participation goal sooner.
I have already made an annual gift this year. Will it count toward this campaign?
There are a number of opportunities to give to PVAMU throughout the year, but only gifts made in support the Employee Giving Campaign will be counted towards this effort.
Where do my campaign funds go?
All dollars collected during the Employee Giving Campaign are designated according to your wishes.
Where do I submit my Pledge Card?
All physical donor pledge cards should be given to your respective Ambassador or returned to University Advancement, Jesse Drew Complex, Suite 200.
