The Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Section of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences exists to foster applied research toward policy development by bringing academics and juvenile justice practitioners together. Its nationally elected leadership has long included persons from the nation’s only doctoral program in Juvenile Justice that exists at Prairie View A&M University. The latest slate of officers however, represents a PV takeover.
