Associate Vice Provost for Academic Affairs
Dr. Carmen R. Carter serves as Associate Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. The office plays a key role in enhancing the university’s educational mission and fostering an environment of academic excellence with responsibility for the content and delivery of a high-quality education across all certificate and degree-granting programs. The Office of Academic Affairs is responsible for the university curriculum governance process, Academic Program Review, and coordination with key stakeholders to support student success initiatives. The office also supports SACSCOC accreditation, promotes a culture of continuous improvement, and maintains academic standards. Reporting units include International Programs and Continuing Education.

Provost Fellow for Excellence in Academic Administration
Responsible for the creation of an infrastructure to support the development of enhanced skills in curriculum development, academic program review, teaching pedagogy, assessment, and high impact practices for student success for mid-level academic administrators.
