The John B. Coleman Library at Prairie View A&M University serves as a comprehensive academic resource center for students, faculty, and staff. It offers a wide array of services and tools to support research, learning, and scholarly activities.

- Research Tools & Databases: Access to the library catalog, e-journals, databases (A–Z), citation assistance, and research guides. Remote access is available for off-campus users.
- Digital Commons: A repository showcasing PVAMU’s archives, research, and scholarship.
- Instruction & Workshops: Offers virtual and in-person sessions on topics like academic integrity, database navigation, and subject-specific research strategies.
- Special Collections & Archives: Houses historical documents, digital yearbooks, and archival materials pertinent to PVAMU’s history.
- Technology & Study Spaces: Provides laptops, printing/scanning services, and room reservations for study or collaboration.
- Library Locations: Includes the main John B. Coleman Library, Northwest Houston Center Library, College of Nursing Library, and the Dr. Robert A. Henry Music Library.
