Dr. Cheryle D. Snead-Greene serves as Associate Vice Provost for Academic Administration and Operations (AAO). The office is committed to promoting academic integrity and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and system regulations. Our mission is to foster a culture of honesty within the academic community by educating faculty, staff, and students about ethical behavior. The AAO also collaborates with university stakeholders to develop and revise academic policies that align with the institution’s mission and values. The AAO oversees the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) and the Center for Instructional Innovation and Technology Services (CIITS). The CTE enhances teaching practices and supports faculty development, while the CIITS integrates technology into the curriculum and promotes innovative instructional methods. Through these efforts, the AAO aims to strengthen the academic framework and support the success of both faculty and students.

The faculty fellow will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive review of the University Guidelines on Academic Integrity. This role involves evaluating existing policies and practices to ensure they effectively promote ethical behavior within the academic community. The fellow will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and propose updates that align with best practices in academic integrity. In addition to this review, the faculty fellow will assist in advancing the procedures related to the Academic Integrity Review Program. This includes streamlining the misconduct reporting process, enhancing electronic communication and feedback mechanisms, and updating the university’s website to provide clear and accessible information. By enhancing these procedures, the fellow will help cultivate a culture of accountability and transparency, fostering an environment where students and faculty understand the importance of academic integrity.
