National Night Out is an opportunity for our PVAMU community and surrounding areas to come together and meet the new Chief of Police and the entire University Police Department. The goal of this event is to foster open communication, strengthen trust, encourage fellowship, and promote a shared commitment to safety.
Each year, thousands of Texas neighbors participate in National Night Out, traditionally held on the first Tuesday in October. The event is designed to raise awareness about crime prevention, generate support and participation in crime prevention efforts, and strengthen neighborhood spirit and relationships.
