USA Basketball will host a Women in the Game conference from 11:30 am – 4:45 pm on Sunday, Sept. 28, at the University of Houston Alumni/Athletics center, and we are offering FREE registration to Prairie View A&M University students and staff.
The purpose of Women in the Game is to inspire more women and girls to careers in sport. Guest speakers and panelists share about their career journey and keys to success, with time for questions and interactions throughout the day. USA Basketball provides lunch and gift items for attendees. Registration is $65, however, we are offering free attendance to at least the first 25 people from Prairie View A&M to register. The event is geared toward college women, female professionals and high school girls, but all are welcome to attend, and it always an inspiring event for speakers and attendees.
We’ve got a great line up, including your own Tai Dillard (women’s basketball head coach) and Alicia Pete (sr. assoc. A.D./SWA).
