Next week we are offering a 1-hour Zoom presentation to introduce you to the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research as an amazing resource to help advance your research agenda. Some of you are already familiar with this resource, which incidentally is available to all PVAMU faculty, staff, and students; but, some of you are new to the university and are unaware that you have this gold mine at your fingertips.

Would you like to increase your skills at searching, downloading and analyzing ICPSR data? Are you looking to bring data analysis into the classroom? Are you looking for summer courses in quantitative methods or statistics? Would you simply like to become more familiar with what ICPSR has to offer?
ICPSR is the world’s largest collection of digital social science data. These data can be used for secondary research, instructional activities, and to write articles, papers or theses.

There are a huge number of local, national and international datasets that you can access and cover topics including sociology, political science, economics, demography, education, child care, health care, crime, minority populations, aging, terrorism, substance abuse, mental health, public policy, and international relations.
