The Office of International Programs strongly believes in the power of international education and the positive transformation that it instills within our students. In an effort to broaden the international opportunities available to our students for their continued personal and professional development, we want to inform our students of the opportunities offered by the Fulbright Program.
The Fulbright Program is one of several United States Cultural Exchange Programs whose goal is to improve intercultural relations, cultural diplomacy, and intercultural competence between the people of the United States and other countries through exchange of persons, knowledge, and skills. It is one of the most prestigious and competitive fellowship programs in the world.
Our office will be hosting a Fulbright Informational Presentation on Thursday, February 7th in May Hall, Room 126 at 12:00 pm which will be presented by a Fulbright representative and a former Fulbright alumni. In an effort to cultivate our students’ global consciousness, we invite all PVAMU faculty and staff who are Fulbright alumni to attend this event.
Most importantly, we would like all PVAMU faculty and staff who are Fulbright alumni to complete the survey below. By completing this survey, you are allowing our office to share your information with our students, so they can be aware of the rich resources around them. It takes a village to develop and nourish our students into becoming the productive and dynamic leaders that we know they are.
