Analytical Chemistry Core Laboratory

The Analytical Chemistry Core houses a diverse range of state-of-the-art instrumentation in Cooperative Agriculture Research Center Lab #175. We specialize in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of inorganic and organic constituents in most solid and liquid materials. Our staff handle the entire analytical process from sample receipt to reporting of results. We also provide training to enable users to operate analytical equipment independently. We work on collaborative research projects that are jointly guided by CARC Research Scientists and Analytical Chemistry Core Lab staff.

Molecular Biology Core Laboratory

The Molecular Biology Core Labs located at Cooperative Agriculture Research Center Room #153 provide the resources needed to perform your molecular biology research efficiently and inexpensively. Molecular Core Lab is support for purification of DNA and RNA and the use of molecular biology equipment for analysis of gene expression, genotyping and DNA or RNA sequencing. We provide training to enable users to operate Molecular Biology equipment independently. We work on collaborative research projects that are jointly guided by CARC Research Scientists and Molecular Biology Core Lab staff.

Microbiology Core Laboratory

Microbiology Core Lab located at Cooperative Agriculture Research Center Room #155 has state-of-the-art instrumentation. The Core Microbiology Laboratory incorporates bacteriology (aerobic and anaerobic), mycology and antimicrobial susceptibility testing. We provide training to enable users to operate Microbiology equipment independently. We also work on collaborative research projects that are jointly guided by CARC Research Scientists and Microbiology Core Lab staff.

There are three areas of study within the Core Labs that assist Research Scientists. These are the Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Biology and Microbiology Core Laboratory areas.
