November 12 – Veterinary science students at Nimitz High School in Irving Independent School District are learning the ins and outs of running a veterinary clinic through the Nimitz Pet Care program. This business is solely run by the students under the guidance of Desmond Speller, a College of Agriculture and Human Sciences alumni who has gone on to share his knowledge of animals to students who are developing their passion for animal care. CAHS is continuously preparing its students for a greater purpose and influencing the future generations of agriculture and animal care.
