unmanned-aircraft-systemMembers of the Natural Resources and Environmental Systems, Ripendra Awal and Haimanote Bayabil, experimented with the CAHS’ unmanned aircraft system (UAS), commonly known as a drone, on the University Farm this past week. The UAS was bought early this year as part of the Smart Agriculture and Natural Resources Management research activities. Both scientists participated in UAS training course early this summer in California. They will be using this UAS and other sensors to train students and conduct research on the University Farm.
