On Saturday, October 2nd of 2021, PVAMU Wellness in Houston hosted its first annual Dance Camp. The Dance Camp was held on Prairie View A&M’s Main Campus at the Recreation Center. The University’s own, Black Foxes dance group, led the entire camp day with a well-taught lesson plan that involved full routines, practice lines and lots of fun activities. Near the closing of camp, the attending students showcased their day’s work and participated in a dance stand battle.

On Wednesday, August 11th of 2021, PVAMU Wellness in Houston hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the formal introduction and showcase of it’s newest edition: The Mobile Kitchen Unit. The event was hosted at Prairie View A&M’s Northwest Center.

On May 7th of 2021, PVAMU Wellness in Houston partnered with Highland Heights Elementary School to rebuild their Beehive Community Garden.

On Friday, May 28th of 2021, PVAMU Wellness in Houston partnered with M.C. Williams Elementary School to help clean-up and rebuild their school garden

Monday, April 5th of 2021, PVAMU Wellness in Houston joined Custom Care Pharmacy in the distribution of COVID-19 vaccinations at Campbell Educational Center in Aldine ISD.

Sunday, March 7th of 2021, PVAMU Wellness in Houston contributed at the Independence Heights Drive-Thru Food Distribution. Alongside other organizations, PVAMU Wellness in Houston loaded food items into the cars of families. There were musical performances and an appearance of stilt walkers. Mayor Sylvester Turner, whose hometown is in Independence Heights, also made an appearance and spoke briefly at the event.
