Welcome to Family and Community Health

Prairie View A&M University Extension’s Family and Community Health (FCH) program helps Texans improve their lives through research-based educational initiatives focused on health and well-being. The program offers essential information on topics such as childhood obesity, health and wellness, food safety, parenting, nutrition, and financial management. These efforts aim to enhance public health outcomes, reduce chronic disease rates, improve mental health, and increase life expectancy.
