A recent National Agricultural Education Supply & Demand Study conducted by the American Association for Agricultural Education revealed that there is a growing demand for Agricultural science teachers in different capacities. On that premise, the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources is collaborating with the College of Education to provide competent teachers to fill those positions.

The Agricultural Science – Teaching Concentration is for students who are seeking careers as agricultural science teachers in middle and high schools. In addition to courses related to agricultural science – teaching, the curriculum also provides an education in all areas of agricultural sciences, including animal and food sciences, agribusiness, plant and soil sciences, and natural resources and environmental sciences, and prepares students to teach the wide range of agricultural science in middle and high schools.
