Prairie View, TX – Researchers from Texas A&M University held their 27th annual Dr. Raymond O. Berry Memorial Lecture and 15th Annual Interdisciplinary Faculty of Reproductive Biology Retreat on October 7, 2022. Various researchers came together to present their research in different fields of animal science and human reproduction systems inside Prairie View A&M University Carden-Waller Cooperative Extension Building Auditorium. About a dozen researchers covered a variety of studies, including reproductive dysfunction in adolescence and reproductive cycles and complications in different animals.

After an afternoon break, Director and Lead Scientist William Foxworth, Ph.D., offered a presentation on the work of Raymond O. Berry, Ph.D., who contributed significantly to the establishment of the discipline of Reproductive Immunology through his pioneering studies, according to the IFRB. Then Donald S. Torry, Ph.D., gave the titular lecture, “Mechanisms Regulating Angiogenic Growth Factor Expression at the Human Maternal-Fetal Interface.”
