Today, as we honor our veterans and reflect on their contributions to this great nation, we are immensely grateful for their service, dedication, and valor. Their bold step forward to answer the call to serve and defend our nation and unselfishly place their lives on the line for the freedoms of all Americans is truly admirable.
To our veterans: The magnitude of your sacrifice is humbling. You are willing to spend countless hours away from your families, amid endless dangers, and confront mixed feelings of pride and uncertainty. You are true heroes.
